ABOUT

It is thanks to the many visionaries who believed in this project, but especially thanks to the will of the people, that the new Videotron Centre project came to be.

Ideally situated on the ExpoCité site in La Cité-Limoilou, the Centre has been designed to blend into its surrounding environment. Construction began September 10, 2012, and it is scheduled to open its doors on September 15, 2015.

The second largest arena in Quebec, the Videotron Centre will accommodate more than 18,000 seated spectators, and over 20,000 total spectators. In addition, the facilities will allow visitors outside the building to get a glimpse of the show or event thanks to projections on a giant outdoor screen.

Highly versatile, the Centre can be used for concerts as well as cultural events with multiple configurations. It can also play host to hockey games since the arena meets the requirements of the National Hockey League (NHL).
